Can Jan de Castanyet is a Catalan rural house located in Santa Coloma de Farners, in Castanyet. It was completely renovated in 2015 using materials and stones from the area to preserve its charm.
The house has the privilege of being in the middle of the Guilleries Massif, and that is why it has been conceived sustainably: the electricity is obtained from solar panels and the water is obtained from a well next to the house.
The restoration of the house was carried out with the aim of achieving the well-being of our guests. In this way, all the rooms have been created keeping the beauty and essence of the past, but thinking about the comforts of the present.
Every detail has been taken into account so that you can feel at home in a secluded environment in the middle of nature, while enjoying the landscape of the Guilleries and its magnificent tranquillity.
